ABOUT

wear blue: run to remember and Team Red, White & Blue, founded the same year with overlapping members and converging missions, have collaborated for over a decade across communities. One Flag Forward symbolizes this partnership; two organizations unified under one banner: the American flag. In the military, units unite under a single flag for joint missions; that's what One Flag Forward is.

"One flag, carried by many, honoring all."

On September 12, 2026, 25 years after the day America came together, one flag begins a 250-mile journey from the site of the greatest attack on American soil to the memorial that honors every American who answered the call.

Over five days, the flag will pass through the hands of Gold Star Families, Surviving Families, Veterans, Service Members, and community supporters, with every branch of the United States Armed Forces represented. Every hand a tribute to service, sacrifice, and the freedom they protect.

About the Organizations

wear blue: run to remember

wear blue: run to remember is a national nonprofit, founded in 2010, dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifice of the American military through active remembrance. wear blue creates spaces, through community-based runs and dedicated programs, where Gold Star and Surviving Families, Veterans, and Active Duty Service Members and their families speak names, share stories, and move together. This intentional remembrance builds connection, resilience, and belonging, helping individuals carry loss and celebrate legacy while ensuring the fallen are never forgotten. It is active remembrance for those who served and those who carry the sacrifice.
