Thank you for your interest in One Flag Forward.

From September 12–16, 2026, one American flag will travel 250 miles from the Intrepid in New York City to USAA’s National Military Monument, adjacent to the future site of the Global War on Terrorism Memorial.

Over five days, Veterans, Service Members, Gold Star and Surviving Family Members, Military Family Members, and civilian supporters will carry the flag forward, honoring the lives forever changed by September 11, 2001, and the generation that answered the call to serve in the years that followed.
