You don't have to run 250 miles to be part of One Flag Forward. Whether you participate in a Community Event in your city, join us along the route, or give to the mission, every action carries the mission further.

Apply To Carry The Flag

We're looking for runners to join the mission. Each day a new group will step up to help us move one step closer to success. If selected, individual athletes will join the event for the full day, from start point to end point (50 to 55 miles), and will choose the total distance and the number of segments they run. If you're interested in carrying the flag, apply now.

ATTEND Community Events

From  September 12 -16, 2026, while one flag makes its way from Ground Zero to the Global War on Terrorism Memorial, communities across the country will run in solidarity. 

Community Events will be hosted at multiple locations across the country. Bring your running group, your chapter, your family. The more people who carry this forward, the louder the mission becomes.

If you're near the route, you'll also have opportunities to join the team at key points along the route. Select the day(s) that work for you, and we'll send details when they're confirmed!

GIVE TO THE MISSION

Can't make it to a Community Event or join us along the route? Donate and carry the mission forward from wherever you are. Give $50 or more and receive the official One Flag Forward event shirt.

Proceeds are divided equally between wear blue: run to remember and Team Red, White & Blue, two nationally recognized nonprofits serving the military-connected community.
